The Vice-Rectorate for Development, Foresight, and Guidance at Blida 1 University is a key player in implementing the university's development strategy. It undertakes the tasks of planning, monitoring, and evaluating investment programs, while adopting a forward-looking vision based on performance, innovation, and modernizing university management.

Speech by the Vice President of the University

The Vice-Rectorate for Development, Foresight, and Guidance plays a pivotal role in supporting and managing projects that contribute to the growth and prosperity of Blida 1 University. Our core mission is to provide an ideal and stimulating environment that fosters academic excellence and supports student success.

To achieve these goals, we oversee construction and equipping projects, attract new initiatives, and manage transition processes, employing the latest technologies to provide the necessary pedagogical, administrative, and cultural infrastructure. Our team comprises a select group of highly qualified architects, engineers, professors, and senior technicians, making this branch truly the "lifeblood of the university" thanks to their dedication, expertise, and commitment. We also ensure efficient central management of all administrative affairs in line with the needs of the university and its academic environment.

In addition to development tasks, the Public Prosecutor's Office also oversees the funding of scientific research equipment, laboratories, and teaching facilities, in coordination with the Directorate General for Scientific Research and Technological Development (DGRSDT) and the Directorate of Development and Foresight at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

We also work in coordination with various administrative departments to unify efforts and achieve a common goal: to make Blida 1 University a space for academic and research excellence, serving the community and meeting the aspirations of students.

The Vice-Rectorate for Development, Foresight, and Guidance is part of the dynamic modernization of higher education in Algeria. Its creation came in response to the need for a strategic body capable of managing development projects, improving resource utilization, and anticipating future needs.

At the University of Blida 1, this department plays a key role in structuring investment programs and contributing to the continuous improvement of university infrastructure.

Our tasks

♦ Preparing media and communication materials related to training programs and their professional prospects;

♦ Providing students with the necessary information to help them choose their academic path;

♦ Encouraging media and student guidance initiatives.

♦ Gathering the necessary data and elements to prepare the university's strategic plans;

♦ Monitoring construction projects and ensuring the implementation of university infrastructure and equipment programs in coordination with the relevant departments;

♦ Completing prospective studies related to expected developments in student numbers, and proposing measures to keep pace with this growth, especially in the areas of pedagogical and administrative supervision;
