University Enhances Digital Competencies with the Conclusion of ‘Train the Trainers’ Course
May 12, 2026

As part of the implementation of the Fourth Generation University (4GU) strategy—aimed at accelerating digital transformation in higher education, elevating the quality of scientific research, and empowering faculty members to keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments—the training-of-trainers (ToT) session on Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) concluded on Monday, May 11th, 2026, at the Computer Center. The program benefited faculty representatives from various colleges and institutes, selected based on their proven expertise in using the Moodle platform.

Supervised by the Vice-Rectory for Pedagogy, this training initiative aims to prepare a cohort of qualified academic experts. These individuals will subsequently oversee the training and mentoring of the remaining faculty across all departments and institutes. This effort is designed to foster a culture of digital learning and enhance modern pedagogical practices within the university, supporting the advancement of education and scientific research in alignment with 4GU standards.
