University of Blida 1 Concludes a Training Workshop on the Fundamentals of Programming in Python

As part of a new step toward strengthening digital transformation within the university, the University of Blida 1 concluded the activities of the hands-on training workshop entitled:

“PyStep1: Getting Started with Python”

The workshop was organized on February 4–5, 2026, by the House of Artificial Intelligence of the University of Blida 1.

The event witnessed active participation from a significant number of faculty members, who will in turn continue to transfer knowledge and mentor their colleagues as part of promoting a culture of programming within the academic community.

The program covered key practical topics, including setting up the development environment, Python fundamentals, data structures, data processing, as well as data visualization and analysis. The workshop stood out for its practical approach, enabling participants to acquire hands-on skills applicable in both academic and professional contexts. It was supervised by the distinguished team of professors from the House of Artificial Intelligence, headed by its Director, Professor Laga Mohand.

The event concluded with the distribution of participation certificates in a distinguished academic atmosphere, with praise for the quality of supervision and organization. The university reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such initiatives that keep pace with technological advancements and labor market requirements.
