The Animal Biotechnology Laboratory (LBA) and the Institute of Veterinary Sciences at the University of Blida 1 are pleased to organize the Third National Workshop on Horse Breeding and Equine Medicine 🐎, in partnership with the Mitidja University Farm.

📅 Program for December 6 – Scientific Day
The first day will be dedicated to lectures and scientific presentations covering three main topics:

Horse breeding in Algeria: production, reproduction, nutrition, and health management;

Equine medicine: diseases, prevention, and therapeutic innovations;

Management of horse lameness: diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and practical aspects.
These sessions aim to foster dialogue between academic researchers, practicing veterinarians, and industry professionals.
📅 Program for December 7 – Practical Workshop
A technical workshop exclusively for practicing veterinarians, including:

Clinical examination of lameness related to tendon injuries;

Principles of tendon ultrasonography;

Emergency case management;
-
Medical treatment and rehabilitation period management.
