Historical Overview of the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations
Pursuant to Executive Decree No. 13-163 of April 15th 2013, amending Executive Decree No. 89-137 of August 1, 1989, establishing the University of Blida 1, and Article 25 of Executive Decree No. 03-279 of August 23th 2003, as amended and supplemented, the Vice-Rectorate is responsible for external relations, cooperation, outreach, communication, and scientific events.
The Vice-Rectorate oversees the monitoring and coordination of various cooperation and partnership programs with universities and research centers, both nationally and internationally, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, promoting the exchange of expertise, and providing opportunities for academic mobility for faculty members, students, and administrative staff.
It is also responsible for organizing and supporting scientific activities and academic events within the university, including conferences, symposia, seminars, study days, and scientific exhibitions. Furthermore, it provides pedagogical support to ensure the success of these events and promotes them in accordance with recognized scientific standards.
Vice-Rectorate Missions

Develop academic and scientific cooperation and relations with national and international institutions.

The Vice-Rectorate for External Relations, Cooperation, Animation, Communication and Scientific Events includes the following services:
Service of Outreach, Communication, and Scientific Events
- Overseeing the organization of all scientific events.
- Initiating and promoting outreach and engagement activities.
- Organizing and monitoring advanced training and capacity-building programs abroad.
- Informing faculty members, students, and administrative and technical staff about events related to university life.
