About the Faculty Library

The Library of the Faculty of Nature and Life Sciences was established during the 2004–2005 academic year. Since its inception, the library has been consistently enriched with publications from various national and international publishing houses, maintaining a steady path of growth and development to this day.

Our Collection

The library currently houses an extensive collection of resources, including diverse textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, Graduation Projects (PFE), and Doctoral theses. Our catalog features 8,250 references in both French and English, categorized as follows:

  • 2,356 Books and Textbooks.

  • 5,894 Graduation Projects (PFE) and Research Dissertations.

Our collection is continuously updated through strategic acquisitions and the mandatory deposit of student and researcher theses. We specialize in the fields of Biotechnology, Biology, Food Sciences, and Agronomy.

Management & Technology

To ensure efficient access and organization, the library utilizes the SYNGEB (Unified System for Library Management) software, developed by CERIST. We follow rigorous documentation workflows and apply international scientific standards for bibliographic processing to ensure our users receive high-quality academic services.
