With the participation of major international companies… University of Blida 1 organizes a distinguished scientific and technological event
On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the university's main conference hall, the exceptional open house event on innovation in electrical engineering was launched, organized by the University of Blida 1, in partnership with the Contractors and Industrialists Club, and the Ben Cherchali Electric Company “Blida Electric”, with the participation of a number of leading international companies accredited in Algeria, such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, Phoenix Contact and other players in the industrial and technological field.
This scientific and technical event witnessed a distinguished presence of experts, engineers, university professors and students, along with representatives of national and international economic and industrial institutions. It also witnessed the presence of the President of the Contractors and Industrialists Club, Mr. Bouhamed Rachid, along with the managers and representatives of the participating companies, in a step that reflects the new dynamism that the Algerian university is experiencing and its continuous openness to its economic and industrial environment, and the strengthening of bridges of cooperation between the university and industrial and technological institutions.
In his opening remarks, the Director of the University of Blida 1, Professor Bezina Mohamed, stressed that these qualitative initiatives reflect the spirit of the new Algeria based on knowledge and innovation and linking the university to the world of industry and technology, noting that the Algerian university has become today a real platform for creativity and the making of the future, through strengthening applied training and encouraging partnerships with economic and industrial institutions.
The Director also welcomed the university’s distinguished guests, including representatives of international companies, experts, and economic actors, appreciating their contribution to supporting the path of education and innovation and transferring modern expertise to students and researchers.
The program for these open days included the organization of a specialized technical exhibition to showcase the latest industrial and technological equipment and solutions in the field of electrical engineering, along with a series of technical presentations and presentations that addressed the latest developments related to industrial automation, digitalization, smart control solutions, electrical protection systems, and modern industrial digital platforms.
During this event, prospects for cooperation were discussed and preparations were made for signing partnership agreements with participating companies, in order to serve the interests of students and professors and enhance training, field application and exchange of experiences.
