Professional Biography DADOU Salima

Dr. Salima DADOU, born on Mai 7, 1978, in Bouira, is Senior Lecturer, Class A, at the Faculty of Technology, Department of Process Engineering, University of Blida 1.
Dr. DADOU obtained her PhD in Process Engineering from USTHB (2015-2020), awarded with the distinction Very Honorable. She previously earned a Magister in Process Engineering (USTHB, 2013-2015), an Engineering Degree in Process Engineering (USTHB, 2002), and a DEA in Industrial Chemistry (1998-1999). She also holds a Baccalaureate in Chemistry obtained in 1996.
Her strong interdisciplinary background, combining chemistry, environmental science, process engineering, and artificial intelligence (AI) applied to industrial systems, enables her to address advanced research topics related to process modeling, oxidation reactions, pollution control, and sustainable industrial systems.
At the University of Blida 1, Dr. DADOU teaches several undergraduate and graduate courses, supervises Master’s and Engineering graduation projects, and actively contributes to scientific research. Her publications, available on her Google Scholar profile, focus on oxidative desulfurization, catalytic processes, green chemistry applications, and statistical optimization methods such as Response Surface Methodology (RSM), experimental design, and AI-based modeling approaches.
Dr. DADOU is actively involved in academic service and regularly participates in national scientific events, contributing to the advancement of Process Engineering research in Algeria.
