As part of the ongoing field preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year, the Director of the University of Blida 1, Professor Bezina Mohamed, on the evening of Wednesday, September 09, 2026, conducted an inspection visit to University Residence No. 03, Martyr Kritli Mokhtar, accompanied by the Director of the National Higher School of Irrigation, the Director of University Services in Blida, and officials from the sector.

The visit included an inspection of the various accommodation facilities, especially the newly delivered suites, which showed good readiness in terms of cleanliness and equipment, as well as the availability of electric elevators, where the University Director gave instructions to start completing their equipment and putting them into service for the benefit of the students.

He also inspected the old wings, whose condition had been assessed, and ordered that the necessary measures be taken to close them, and to coordinate with the relevant authorities to begin the preparation and rehabilitation processes in accordance with the required standards.

The university director also stressed the need to continue preparing the external environment of the residence, by preparing green spaces, improving lighting, and taking care of common spaces, in addition to working on creating facilities and spaces suitable for students, in order to contribute to providing a decent and stimulating university environment.
