The Director of the University of Blida 1, Professor Bezina Mohamed, participated today, Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the proceedings of the National Conference of Universities, which was chaired by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamal Beddari, in the presence of university officials, sector executives, and various partners.

 During the symposium, the roadmap for the new academic year was presented, which focuses on continuing the transformation towards a smart, entrepreneurial, and knowledge- and wealth-generating university, through the use of artificial intelligence in the student's educational path and supporting university professors, promoting innovation, and transforming the outputs of scientific research into economic products and projects.

 The symposium also addressed supporting emerging institutions and prototypes through the “Protomarket” program, developing innovative financing mechanisms, establishing a culture of quality in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and enhancing the international visibility of Algerian universities and academic openness through twinning programs and “Study in Algeria”. 

 Efforts to improve university services and student accommodation and food conditions were also reviewed, as part of the ongoing reform and development of the higher education and scientific research system.
