On Wednesday evening, September 16, 2026, the Board of Directors of Blida 1 University convened in an extraordinary session in the meeting hall at the University Directorate headquarters. The session was chaired by Professor Benyaiche Abdelkrim, Director of Bejaia University, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Blida 1 University, representing the Minister of Higher Education and Research. Also in attendance were the University Director, Professor Bezina Mohamed, along with members of the Board and university staff. The session's agenda included:
▪️ Additional budget for Blida University 1 for the year 2026.
▪️ Miscellaneous items, foremost among them the ratification of the internal regulations of Blida University 1, which is the legal framework regulating the institution.
 ▪️ Approval was granted to increase the capital of the subsidiary “University Farm of Mitidja”, in a move aimed at strengthening the university’s own resources and supporting its investment projects.
This meeting is part of the university's administrative and financial governance framework, aimed at ensuring the availability of all necessary pedagogical and material resources for a successful academic year and improved institutional performance. It also seeks to enhance the performance of subsidiary institutions in line with the new directions of the higher education and scientific research sector towards economic openness.
