As part of completing the preparations for the 2026-2027 academic year, the Director of the University of Blida 1, Professor Bezina Mohamed, chaired an expanded meeting of the University Directorate Council on Monday, September 14, 2026, in the presence of the following gentlemen and ladies: the Vice-Directors, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Institutes, and officials of various structures and departments.

The meeting was dedicated to assessing the university’s readiness and following up on priority files, particularly pedagogical organization, training programs, teaching loads and schedules, and the reception and supervision of new students, in addition to strengthening training in English and studying ways to develop academic pathways in this language.

The meeting also addressed pedagogical developments and the inclusion of new standards, as well as following up on Resolution 1275, amended and supplemented, and enhancing student support in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation, in addition to assessing the readiness of the central library, its documentary collection, and its digital services.

The meeting also included monitoring the state of the university environment and cleanliness, identifying outstanding pedagogical and logistical issues, and determining the procedures to address them in anticipation of the start of the academic year in the best possible conditions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the University Director stressed the need to strengthen coordination and combine the efforts of the university community, in order to ensure a successful and organized university entry, and to improve the quality of education, supervision and university services.
